What is Logo Customizer: Design Studio?
Logo Customizer: Design Studio is a Shopify app that lets merchants add product and packaging customization to storefront product pages. Customers can upload logos, position artwork, preview the result, and attach files to cart and order details.
How do I show the customizer on my product page?
Open Shopify Admin, go to Online Store, then Themes, then Customize. Open your product template, add the Product Design Customizer app block, position it near the product form, and save the template.
Why is the customizer not visible on my storefront?
Make sure the app block has been added to the active product template and that product and packaging blank images have been configured in the app. Also confirm you are viewing a product that uses the same template.
Where are uploaded customer logos stored?
Uploaded logos and generated previews may be stored in secure object storage such as Cloudflare R2. The generated file links are attached to cart and order details so merchants can access the artwork for fulfillment.
Can customers preview both product and packaging designs?
Yes. If both product and packaging blank images are configured, customers can switch between product and packaging views, position their uploaded logo, and save preview files for both views.
Does the app modify my theme code?
The app uses a Shopify theme app extension block. Merchants add the block through the Shopify theme editor. The app does not require manually editing theme code for the basic setup.
Will uploaded files appear in the order?
Yes. After a customer confirms the design and adds the product to cart, preview and print file links are added as line item properties so merchants can review the files from cart or order details.
